Ernie`s Seafood Restaurant & Bar in Nortd Richland Hills

We arrived and were seated immediately. Once we ordered our food (steak and lobster and stuffed Salmon) it took a very long time to come out (30min) and was not worth the money. The steak and lobster were rubbery and the Salmon was dry. Our waitress Jade was great and got our starter taken off because it took so long, she was very attentive and we never had to wait for drink refills. My husband had the coconut chess pie and said it was the best chess pie he has ever had. If we go back it will only be for the pie.

Bacon wrapped scallops where amazing. Fried zucchini was great the ones that was not soggy but over all great food.

Neighborhood resturant but always good.Mom loves the gumbo!!!

Awesome place to eat. Food was fantastic. Our waitress wasn't as good as expected..she wasn't on top of her game..hostess got our refills..she still got a 3$ tip..but was unsure of it. Overall our dinning experience was great and we will be back

I have to say I really enjoyed my meal, waiter was very good and kind, the manager comped a dessert without us asking as they overcooked a steak just a lil. They have an amazing clam chowder! I could come back just for that!

NO WORDS!!!! HANDS DOWN!! The BEST LOUISIANA GUMBO IVE EVER HAD!! I have gone there 3 times and ordered the same dish... Flavor and consistency and just the right bite each time!!! I’ve been around but I feel this is the Best Gumbo in Town!!! Also ask about their blackened Salmon Caesar Salad!! My Brides Favorite!!! Love me some Ernies!!!

The food is good the decide is dated and old. This visit could have been our last, as the staff allowed a customer to bring a dog into the restaurant to eat with her. That's disgusting to have seen this person carry this dog around the restaurant in areas where drinks are prepared for other people.

Best food in Hurst if you enjoy seafood!

Went on V day and it was my first time. I ordered steak and lobster with fresh oysters and a drink. Friend ordered the pick two, shrimp. Oysters took a bit of time to come out, waiter stated someone took my order, no biggy. Would have been if I didn't get them, but I did. Asked if they could cook my steak rare and they said yes, came out med well. Again, wasn't there for the steak anyhow. I was there for the lobster and oysters and I have to say perfection! Server was happy ,friendly and did the best he could do based off the kitchen. Missing hushpuppy on friends plate so waiter brought us 4 fresh ones. The oysters were so dang fresh and cold and good I honestly wish i would have just ordered 2 dozen oysters and a lobster tail. And to top it all off it was under 100.00 for 2 people, appetizer and drinks. I will definitely be back and just get what I said. Very happy night. Thank you.

Great fish tacos with excellent red beans and rice. The seafood gumbo is the best ever and the fried shrimp is wonderful.

Ernie's has always been a favorite of mine. The food is always great, the food is always tasty. The waitresses are very attentive and polite. Amber is just top notch and makes eating out a wonderful experience. Be sure to tip her well!

My family and I absolutely love Ernie's. It;s our favorite seafood place and the prices are the best around town.

What can I say? The food was so good the first time that I literally went back the very next day! My servers, Brook and Michael,were amazing and the drinks WERE ACTUALLY DRINKS!! Not to mention the cute, lively kid, Montana, who brought me bread and gave me life! 😅😅😅

I have been coming here since I was a small kid and just visited for the first time in several years last weekend. Nothing has changed in the best way. The place looks the same, very clean, and the food is still awesome! The service is great! We ordered fried zucchini and calamari as starters and both were great. I highly recommend the stuffed salmon! It was fantastic!

This place is fantastic. It felt like Cheers. Everyone knew everyone! The food was delicious; the beer was nice and cold; and our waitress, Heather, was the absolute best. This will definitely become a regular haunt of mine!

I've been going here since I was 17 and know the owner. He is the best man ever who goes out of his way to make sure you are taken care of and satisfied when you leave from there. He has a staffed a great worker's and they all work as a team. We just had my Stepdads surprise 60th birthday party up on Saturday February 1st and it was a blast.

The is the best kept secret around! Service was exceptional. We had a great server. Fresh seafood of all kinds. Nice menu with a great variety. I had not been here for quite a long time and was impressed to see it is even better than before. Tonight we had the Bacon wrapped sea Scallops. Absolutely delicious! I was impressed how the bacon was very crispy and the Scsllops themselves were not over cooked, but nicely done. My wife had the Grilled Shrimp salad. She was very pleased with it. I opted for the Pan-seared Hawaiian Mahi-Mahi. It was wonderful. For my sides I had steamed vegetables and a house salad with ranch. All portion sizes were substantial and fresh. My only negative was that the online menu was way out of date and didn't reflect the current offerings or prices. That being said, it wa a wonderful meal.

1st time. Was really surprised when got there. Everyone was crazy nice. And the place had a nice atmosphere. Slightly down home, in in a good way. And the food was really good too. Not to mention reasonably priced. Def going back.

This place is a hidden gem! Fantastic food, portions and staff! Chelsea our server was particularly excellent giving fantastic suggestions. Will be coming back! The owner even made an appearance and was an an absolute joy to have a conversation with.***Update***Went back for round two today (about 4weeks after my initial post) and I have to say this place did not disappoint! Interesting enough my server was once again Chelsea and her guidance led us through a fantastic meal of seafood gumbo, calamari, stuffed salmon, potato crusted cod, and a delightful blackberry cobbler with a generous scoop of vanilla on top! Top tier food and staff for very reasonable prices. A note on the ambiance, even in the high traffic times the acoustics in this establishment allows for easy conversation making it a great place for any business meals you may have. Try the calamari. :)

Been here several times thanks to Groupon. Even without having a groupon, I would be happy to visit. Service is always amazing and food is the same. Try Ernie's, you won't regret it!

Great little place for food, drink, or just hanging for happy hour! Love this place. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like family. Good prices too! It is great for family, dates, or going solo. I highly recommend this place. They also have a great brunch on Saturday and Sunday. They have eggs Benedict and mimosas plus other great things on the brunch menu! Give it a try! You will love it!

Wasn't quite sure what to expect based on the look of the building from the outside. Turned out better than expected. Enjoyed the food and will definitely be back.

Eh. I expect high quality from a seafood place and the ribeye was OK at best. The mariner platter was great if you enjoy fried seafood. It was decent but I expected more.

I visited Ernie's twice so far and both times it was great. My wife and I had the Salmon with Garlic Sauce with the Side Salad and Raspberry Vinaigrette and it was spectacular. The service is top notch and the place is beautiful. I haven't ordered any drinks yet but it's on my to-do list.

Even though we waited a hour, IT WAS WORTH IT. It was Valentine’s Day and we wanted Olive Garden but they were packed. I suggested Ernies based off the location and reviews. I was able to sit and wait comfortably while a table was cleared. The prices are amazing but the food is even better. The staff worked hard to please everyone. They did a excellent job! I had the stuffed salmon. So much better than Olive Garden. The drinks are nice and strong. Nice romantic like atmosphere but still family friendly. May I suggest dinner rolls while customers wait to eat?That would be awesome.
